MACE APPEARS TO BE QUIETLY ENDING HIS CAMPAIGN FOR TOWN OF THOMPSON SUPERVISOR AFTER RECENT ARREST

BREAKING: Republican Town of Thompson council member Scott Mace, a candidate for the town supervisor position, appears to be ending his campaign to unseat Democrat incumbent Bill Rieber- after his recent arrest by the New York State Police, as reported exclusively by The SullivanTimes.

Mace was arrested last week and is facing three criminal charges, including a felony involving the possession of a narcotic.

Although there has been no official announcement, Mace has deleted his "Scott Mace For Thompson Supervisor" page either over the weekend or on Monday. That followed information brought by a source to The SullivanTimes on Monday that Mace was intending to withdraw from the race.
